OK, these are not going to be perfect. You'll need to at least get them set up for $50-$75 depending on the shops in your area. That said, for the price you'll get a solid wood electric guitar with OK electronics and a straight neck. And, you get it from a company in the US so you don't have to deal with the Chinese. Not that there is anything wrong with China or the Chinese, but dealing with a company in the US certainly makes it easier to return the product if you had unrealistic expectations on what you're getting for under $100.
Now that I've driven down your expectations, consider this. These guitars are great starter guitars for an incredible price. Any guitar you buy will require you to have it set up so you're paying the extra $50-75 no matter what you buy. A friend of mine purchased a $3K Martin that he needed to have set up after he got it. I know right?
Beyond that you get some solid, decently crafted wood to make tweaks on to your taste. Plus you don't have to worry about leaving it lying around.
Without further adieu, here they are. See them all here. Oddly, these are all red or red sunburst. Look for some blue ones coming soon.
